Itinerary

Day 1: Joshimath.

Today's voyage from Haridwar to Joshimath is around 260 kms in length and takes around 10 hours. Joshimath is a center for traveler voyagers flying out to Badrinath and Hemkund Sahib. Register with visitor house at Joshimath.

Day 2: Joshimath to Chitrakhana.

To begin the Kuari Pass trek we initially drive to Dhak village.At this town we will begin our trekking experience to the Kuari Pass. We trek through a hemlock, oak and rhododendron woodland for 3km preceding a short drop to the glade and campground at Chitra Kantha (3310m). The amazing snow-topped edge, including Chaukhamba  (7138m), can be seen past Joshimath. The shepherds living amongst here and the Kuari Pass Trek are from Rishikesh or Haridwar and brush rushes of sheep and goats all through summer. There is a little spring line at the leader of the glade for recharging your water supply.

 Day 3 : Chitrakhana to Tali Top.

We will start our day early with a few stretching exercises in the morning followed by breakfast. After this our trek leader will brief us about today's trek schedule. Today we will trek for around 6 kms to Tali Top through green vegetation and red rhododendron flowers which turn red during the blooming season in April & May. Climb up through the forested ridge of Rhododendron, Spruce and Silver Birch above Chitra Kantha. It takes around an hour to reach a prominent ridge top (3500m) and a further 30 minutes around to an open meadow where it meets the well-defined track from a place called Tapovan.We will camp at the alpine meadow at the end of Tali top.

Day 4 : Tali top to Kuari Pass by means of Khullara and back.

We will begin ahead of schedule as this is the longest day on the Kuari Pass Trek. To begin with leg of today's trek is a steady climb till Khullara best and from that point crossing through the snow fix we reach Kuari Top. At Kuari Pass beat winds will spout past you. Relish the unending vistas of awesome Himalayan pinnacles including the celebrated Nanda Devi. Nanda Devi (7816m) is the most astounding pinnacle totally inside India. Day 5: Tali to Joshimath by means of Auli.

Day 6: Joshimath to Haridwar.
